ATTACK!!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day Everyone,

Last night we received a visit from those clever and devious leprechauns…They left a mess.

We built traps hoping to catch one, but all we each got was a small lump of gold.

What tricksters…

Have a great St. Patrick's Day

Classroom Search Engine

We are starting our Informative Writing Unit and we have decided to research sea creatures. Students came up with very creative sea creatures to study like: Anglerfish, Black Dragon Fish, Brown Garden Eel, Demon Fish, Dwarf Shark, Lemon Shark and many more. We have such creative minds in our classroom.
Below is the search engine we will be using to research our sea creatures:

First Day Back

Today was a wonderful day back. Hearing about what some did over winter break…It was great to hear about trips to California, seeing uncles, cousins, grandma's and just staying at home spending time with family.

As we dive into our 3rd quarter, our classroom responsibilities, homework and atmosphere is changing.

As parents you may notice that the reading has risen to 30 minutes a night, math is now 2 pages (One required and the other is a challenge for those who want to go above and beyond) and writing will start focusing on the use of words instead of narrative writing.

HOMEWORK WILL BE GIVEN EVERY WEEK…EVEN 3 DAY WEEKS

I am very excited to be jumping into informational writing, area/multiplication, and forces/motion…

WELCOME BACK AND HAPPY NEW YEAR…
2015 WILL BE AWESOME
