Good Afternoon Readers,
This past week we have been SUPER busy with projects and community building!!!
In science we are working on the water cycle and making paper models of the water cycle using the vocabulary like precipitation, condensation, and evaporation. We are in the middle of them but the finished products will be so cool and will be hung from our ceiling.
We also have been reading books by Julia Cook with focuses on waiting your turn, what to do to stand up to a bully and personal space. I asked the students to put themselves in the yes, no or not sure section for one activity and the true/false section for another. I said statements and we came up with these answers:
Finally, our wonderful sub talked about the difference between being bullied and being picked on…As a class they came up with these answers:
So as you can tell we have had a VERY busy week!!!
